Congratulations Scooby, brilliant outcome.

Just for future reference, do you know which 2 of yours voted?, and what were the ones that didn't bother?.

Would be nice to try and build up some reference statistics.

I dont have my meeting date yet but I will post my results when I get them.

On the way to a brighter future....:-D
Kind Regards.

Congratulations Scooby - it's a great feeling isn't it!

I agree with Illihor that it would be good to know who has voted and who hasn't. Mine were (greatest first):

Natwest - Voted yes with modifications
Egg (Loan) - Did not vote
Virgin Credit Card (MBNA) - Did not vote
Barclaycard - Did not vote
Tesco Credit Card - Voted yes
Egg Credit Card - Voted yes with modifications
Littlewoods - Did not vote
Next Directory - Did not vote

I found Natwest, Egg and Barclaycard to be quite understanding throughout the whole process.
MBNA were nasty, and I only received letters from the others.

I hope this helps, although every case is different.

Thanks all the one who voted were

1 Nat West
2 Tesco Finance (Royal Bank of Scotland)

The ones which did not vote were

1 Egg Loan
2 Egg Credit Card
3 Halifax Credit Card
4 Lloyds TSB Credit Card

The two who did vote I owed about 10% of the whole debt to so it does not matter how much you owe just who votes I suppose i was lucky Egg didnot vote because I owe them about 45% but as they did not vote they have to fall in line with the rest of them

Thanks all
Scooby

Well done Scooby !!!
Just strange,as in Dominics case and yours, that the major creditors have not voted.
Can any other forum experts shed light on this ??

well this is the law that covers it

5.23(1) (Three-quarters majority) Subject as follows, at the creditors’ meeting for any resolution to pass
approving any proposal or modifications there must be a majority in excess of three-quarters in value of the
creditors present in person or by proxy and voting on the resolution.

Congratulations Scooby great to hear that you were accepted.

For stats these are the people who definately voted yes by proxy for me last week and the amount of calls i received during the 5-6 week period:-

1. Lloyds TSB - voted yes (£29K)- no calls
2. Mint (RBS) - voted yes (£8K) - one call made by me to them, understanding/polite
3. Goldfish - voted yes (£6K) - one call made by me to them, understanding/polite
4. Morgan Stanley - voted yes (£5.5K) - 3 calls by them, understanding/polite
5. Monument - voted yes (£6K) - no calls
6. Capital one - voted yes (£1K) one call from me to them, understanding/polite, issued default notice

7. MBNA - as at 10am on the day of my meeting at 3.30 no vote received (£7K) - numerous home calls, mobile calls and texts - one nasty call right at the beginning (me phoning them!). The rest were ok. They phoned me. Calls were from an International Call centre..firm called GVI. A bit pushy and some nosey but ok...calls stopped after IVA proposal sent out.
8. Barclay Card - as per MBNA above no vote recieved (£800) - 2 phone calls from them - understanding and polite.
