Thanks for all your support :) Getting our heads round this now and the car thing doesnt seem so bad - after all the IVA has been accepted and if we cant downsize we should be able to prove it! and the worst is an extra 12 months payments - which we will probably have with the equity modification anyway!!

Does anyone know what the situation with Hire Purchases (HP) is as I thought they couldnt be included in an IVA and if we do downsize we will need to add this to the proposal????

If you are left with a HP shortfall on a current HP agreement, this will be bound under the terms of the IVA.
