Hi Gary

Are you proposing a joint IVA or individual?
Did you have an assessment carried out by more than 1 company?
Also
Do let us know the outcome after speaking with them tomorrow.

Regards

I'm really worried now! Are Lloyds the same as Blackhorse? If so, they make up 35% of my aggregate debt when I combine my loan, credit card and overdraft (£17,900 of an aggregate debt of £51K). Does this mean my IVA or DMP will most likely be rejected?

Just spoken to Moneydebt& Credit who are dealing with our IVA and they claim that if there IP's thought that our proposal would not be accepted that they would not put it forward. They also say that each case is judged on its own merits, which I can understand. But after speaking with you guys on here think that before it is to far down the road I will request that all my paperwork is returned to me .Just recieved a call from Thomas Charles company, they also think that Blackhorse is a problem , so paperwork is definatley goona be requested back.

Lloyds TSB DO NOT have the same criteria as Black Horse, although they are part of the same group.

Hi gporter, your story really scares me. I do not understand how IVA companies can charge such extortionate fees! Surely there should be a law against this. I hope you get it resolved soon. Good luck.

Money debt and credit were one of the ones we contacted and I didn't gleam much confidence from them. Important to shop around. Our credits meeting is on 19th Feb we are very nervouse but optimistic.
