Hi Guys

I have just got home to my Chairman's report from Melanie and here are the voting results for our recently approved IVA:

OH

Black Horse (Lloyds TSB) - £1305 - No
Capital One CC - £3339 - No
Egg CC - £4543 - No
MBNA (Max Recovery) - £4842 - No
Northern Rock (Together)(Joint) - £30614 - Yes
Northern Rock Loan - £13491 - Yes
Lloyds TSB CC - £3990 - Did not vote
Lloyds TSB Loan - £8181 - Did not vote

Me

Egg CC - £1766 - No
Lloyds TSB CC - £3514 - No
Northern Rock (Together) (Joint) £30614 - Yes
MBNA - £11906 - Did not vote

As you can see, the way the voting has/hasn't been made really doesn't make sense, purely because the people that have hounded us the most and their staff have been the most horrid are the ones who didn't bother to vote.

With these votes in mind, I think Melanie and her team did a fantastic job with NR to get our IVA approved. Well done Melanie and all of your team, now I have seen the figures, I realise how difficult our case must have been for you. Thanks again. Kazzy x [;)]

I have to say that even I was a little worried about your case Kazzy - but am glad that we decided to put it forward as I gather there are a lot of IPs who simply will not take on cases with Northern Rock and MBNA debts.

At least it went your way Kazzy, and don't forget, the people who pester us on the phone are not the same people who vote in the IVA's. [:)]

Congratulations on getting the IVA accepted.

I do sometimes wonder who the people are that do actually vote in the end, and their logic in voting.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

Melanie, by following recent posts regarding NR & MBNA, even I wondered whether there would be a positive outcome for us and was extremely worried leading up to our meeting. As I say, I don't understand why the creditors vote in this way, and I would have thought that MBNA would have voted on mine, as it was such a large debt. I'm not worried about it now, I will just live in my happy little IVA bubble and be eternally grateful that this was the outcome. Rgrds Kazzy x
