Hi All

Another slice of culture, missed last week so will have two for the price of one today, a bogoff if you will.

Enjoy

John

Time

Here I am, trapped today
With no future plan at all
My past and memories were my only treasures
That I ever seemed to recall

Living my past, I enter the future
With no regrets or shame
My past had taught me about my present
As soon as the future came

A cycle is planted in my life
That buds from past to future
It only takes a matter of time
Before I arrive back here

My future is no different from my past
No surprises I will await
Only the memories of my loved but lost ones
Rages my anger and hate

Anders Lim

A Child's Laughter

One of a kind this cheerful sound
A child's laughter wherever it's found
From the giggling of a baby in a playpen
To the laughter of a toddler again and again

A child's laughter can bring a smile
To one who hasn't done so in such a long while
I know because that one was me
Until my daughter's0laugh set mine free

A child's laughter so gleeful and pure
An innocence adults miss for sure
Laughter that can bring back the past
And memories of a youth that flew by so fast

A child's laughter can bring out the best
Of most many man when he's depressed
Cause his spirit that's fall to soar
Until at last he laughs once more

Harry J. Couchon Jr

This second slice I chose even though we have no children of our own I still find the sound of a childs laughter to be one of the most infectious and cheering sound I hear

John, I love BOGOF's!

Lovely poems, and I know what you mean about childrens laughter. I love TV adverts with kids chuckling on there. Always makes me smile.[:)]

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.
