Hi All

This week we are going to enter the world of quotations, this one is by George Bernard Shaw. I thought it very apt as it cover a number of possible motivations and ends. Please add some of you own if you like.

There are two things necessary to Salvation.... Money and gunpowder.

regards

author unknown....

"I am in a position to advise all on saving, not money, but time, for I am an expert....for without exeption, every month, I manage to have days left over after the money's run out...."

Planning on having that inscribed on my headstone!

May be cheesey but I love the lyrics for this current chart song:

"I came to this world with nothing
And I leave with nothing but love
Everything else is just borrowed"

sort of puts all those must have 'things' i know contributed to my debt into perspective - they are 'just borrowed' and mean nothing really [:I]

The second quote is particularly apt I think!
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.
Bob Marley.

It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy

We used to do that all the time. Our street is small, only 10 houses in a cul de sac off a cul de sac, so very quiet. The houses were new when we moved in, so everyone got to know everyone else and we had some wonderful spontaneous parties with everyone invited. It was any excuse for a knees up.

People have moved on though, and it's not the same anymore.
