I moved from Lloyds to Natwest when I entered into a Debt management plan, I have had no problem with them since going into my IVA 5 years ago.
A basic current account but never any problems.
Thanks all. This basic account is all I will need, even after the iva is complete, done and dusted. I now know having an account with all the bells and whistles and a huge overdraft facility is not the way to manage my money or budget successfully.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues
I gave kept my Co-Op Cashminder -- see no need (yet) for anything else. The only issue I have is that the online banking takes a few days to update -- but you get used to it.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I have a basic Natwest Account isn't a problem for me as you can draw cash out of the Banks ATM and also Tesco's where I shop anyway, you can still use it as a Debit card in all shops, never tried at petrol pumps so I wouldn't know with only having a scooter and the most I can get in is £6 I always use cash lol. Hubby somehow by accident got the select account when he opened his account with them at the beginning of the IVA and they have never downgraded him so he can use any ATM's anywhere.

If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine
