Hi All... Was accepted today for an IVA and feel 100% better for doing it . Was on a dmp for 12 months prior to being accepted and although the dmp was cheap and a short term fix it would have taken 30 to 40 years to clear my debt. At least I can now feel better about myself and not have the constant thought that the debts will never go away. In a strange way I feel that I have won a small battle, even on day one, by deciding and going through with this.

Hi Sleeping well, and welcome to the forum.

Congratulations on having your IVA approved. It certainly is a weight off your shoulder, and you can at least see the light at the end of the 5 year tunnel rather than still be stumbling in the dark.

Good luck for the future, keep posting and I'll bet you live up to your name tonight![:)]

Hi Sleeping well.

Congrats on your approval.

5 years seems a long stretch I know. I am almost 3 years into mine, had a few hiccups but I am getting there.

Good luck with it
