I know I'm selfish, but I have no intention of ever claiming any charges back so if the banks win I will breathe a huge sigh of relief.

We have a little wall safe in our kitchen where we keep important documents and any spare cash we have (so that bit is usually empty!) if they do charge, all our money will be kept in there.

You'd get groups of yobs hanging around outside the banks waiting for people to come out.

I also hope the banks win - I know they'll start charging eventually, but it might put it off for a while.

I can see that happening! My parents used to go and withdraw all their pension money and I used to tell them they were a muggers dream!

I think that Lloyds must have changed their classic account as that is what I have and it came with a Visa Debit card which is really useful.

Just have to hope now that we don't start getting charged.

I wonder what will happen with cashback if they bring in the charges?

Otherwise, if you have a debit card, I can see the tills running short of money as everyone will spend a couple of quid in Tesco and then withdraw £50![:D]
