Thanks again all, Lily, I know you understand how it is in "limbo land".....a bit rubbish to say the least eh? Nothing I can do to hurry it along at the moment, I've done my bit. I'll post more info when it's sorted. Hmm, now where's OT?[:0] X

Viki

I think youre being very brave about it all, youre a credit to this forum, there were times I didnt want to get out of bed just to face another day in limbo, time and time again my hopes were raised, plus there were so mnay really upsetting things to do.... Well it all happened quite quickly, it seemed that one day the clouds lifted and hey presto my world changed and I had options. So you never know, tomorrow things might change for you, I hope so very much they do. Youre always there for others in their hour of need, when your day comes I will be opening a bottle of something with you... Take care for now, we are never expected to cope with anything we cant handle (well so I am told). Its freezing out here now, I thought we were in for a muggy night, I am shivering here. Well I know where OT is, sticking out of the bathroom window next door on the end of a squashed up face wondering what the hell next door is doing out side at this time of night tapping into a lap top, in a very small T shirt and shorts freezing her ass off, it takes all sorts, right. koirhb.;;H cOLE SENDS HIS LOVE TOO. (HE IS MY CAT AND LIKES CAPITOLS ME THINKS) i JUST HAD HIS SNOUT IN MY EYE SO i GUESS HE IS WANTING HIS NUMMY NUMMIES.

wELL TAKE CARE, SPEAK SOON

LOVE AND HUGS
LILY

Lily, you always make me feel better. I laughed AND had a tear in my eye at your post. If I can give half of the support to this forum that you do, I'll be happy. Thanks Hun. X

Just read on the insolvency site that under The Office of Fair Trading Code of Guidance, collectors should give you notice of the time and date they will call........Hm, interesting!

I thought that was the case Viki.

If she turns up again on spec, you can give her short shrift!

Hopefully she won't though.[:)]

Did they not send a postcard or anything like, Vicki? We get them all the time even though we have been br now for 6 months, half way through it!! I have mine and hubby's br forms handy so I can just flash them at them, like a crucifix at a vampire.....pooouuuufffffff, they will disappear.....[:D][:D]
It's nice to be back......

I'd keep the stake handy next to the door as well Chris in case they are stubborn vampires and the crucifix doesn't work!!!!!![:D][:D]

[:D][:D]Chris, can just imagine it!

No, definately no postcard, I did get a postcard ages ago from Halifax but they didn't come. Mercers said they didn't need to give notice when I called them. I'm not phoning them again

I've just had a really horrible call off Halifax, I kept calm and explained my situation but he talked over me and said that if I didn't make a token payment on the phone then they won't approve my IVA. I'm so glad I have this forum otherwise I might have believed him. He really upset me, in the end he said "are you going to put the phone down on me?" and I said "no" so he said "sounds like you don't care about any of this to me" so I put the phone down.....[:I]

They are complete AR*EHOLES aren't they??? They try all this psychological bu**sh*t to try to shame us into paying something....£1 token payment may as well be £million token payment, if we aint'got any money we ain't got any money!!!! [:(!]
Try not to let him bother you, you know that you do care or you wouldn't be doing what you are, so give him the bird(middle finger) and tell him to swivel....even if he can't hear you..lol [:D] xx

Hee Hee, great picture! Thanks, they are unbelievable. I AM doing something about this and I do care....a lot, cheek of him. I've decided that I'm not answering the phone again now. The calls have been ok up until now, but I don't want to be upset every day, it's hard enough selling the restaurant, I'm upset anyway. You all cheer me up though.[:)] X

Once I had gone bankrupt, I rang NRock to tell them and the house was in the process of being repossessed and they just said "thanks for letting us know" This was on a Thursday, the next morning at 9am, I had a debt collector from NR at the door, asking my what my intentions were regarding the house!!!!!!!!!! I told him what I had told NR the day before, and he just said "oh dear, I have had a wasted journey then"!

IDIOTS

Luckily my street was very quiet but it really stressed me out

Re reading your post Viki about Mercers - they were always sending me letters about calling round, but they said it would be local debt collectors and they would make arrangements to call - no one ever did though.

I think you were extremely unlucky there.

Mercers threatened me with debt collectors too and this was 6 months into my IVA being accepted!

They are quite ruthless and rude but eventually they get the message and give up, trust me.

Keep strong and keep ringing them with any developements, they dont seem to like that!! x
