I assume the debt is included in your IVA.

What did he do when you said I an in an IVA and that the debt is included?

Followed by *********************** :-)

But more seriously, they can't do this as creditors can't harass you like this.

That's not good but at least you know you are covered.

I would definitely tell your IP on Monday as they will probably want to take this further.

I'm not surprised that you were upset! I think I'd have had something a bit stronger than tea or wine!!

I can't believe that he didn't know what an IVA was!!!

Definitely speak to your IP and I'm sure they will be having very strong words with Moorcroft!!

Oh no that must have been awfull for you. Hope you are ok. Thankfully we have never had a debt collector turn up, but i do worry about it. If i get a knock on the door or strange car turn up i wonder who it could be. we started our IVA in feb but still have Very phoning us alot. I give them all the IVA details and they go away for a couple of weeks and then start phoning again. I was so angry last week i was shaking when i spoke to them, i can't imagine how it must feel to have someone knock on the door, especially whey you are doing everything to keep to your part of the agreement.

Another person having problems with Very. I wouldn't entertain them anymore Anna. Just put the phone down.

If I resolve my problems with them I shall post it on here (as you can see from my profile - my IVA is complete and I am still having issues).

Get your IP to sort them out Anna - they should not be phoning you and I'm afraid I'd be less than polite now.

That must've been a very distressful situation for you Penniless and i would certainly be phoning my IVA company as well as the idiots who actually sent this person round as it shouldn't have happened. Hope you ok and enjoyed your beverage whatever it was. xx
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
