You do not have to let anyone into your house unless they are a court approved baliff who has a court ordered warrant. You be for warned of this by the court.

Have you started to make steps towards finding a solution for your debt difficulty.

Hi jos and welcome,

Are you in an IVA?
Make sure that the people at your door are baliffs, if not you dont have to let anyone in.

Regards,
Michelle P.

hI Jos

Welcome to the forum, although its often threatened that someone will call, it virtually never happens. The creditors will shout and threaten both by phone and letter mainly because they really do not have any power, unlike things like utilities who will just cut you off, etc. Be firm but polite and inform your creditors of your chosen action to sort your debts out.

Good luck with everything
