My hubby's IVA is with DFD. No real problems to be honest. Not unless you want to speak to your IP....this is impossible. The ony way he managed to get past the call centre people was to find IP's email address on the insolvency website and email him direct. Although he didnt actually reply, hubby was contacted by a lady who has been a great help and keeps in contact with us now through email.

You should find that there are a significant number of firms, large and small that do not charge an up front fee. It's quite unusual these days to find ones that do.
If anyone suggests an upfront fee, I would be inclined to steer clear of them unless they undertake to refund any monies you have paid to them in the event your IVA is not approved.
