Myself and my husband have got debts that we are unable to manage. We have two secured loans and a number of credit cards etc. It is a circle that we cannot get out of. Applying for credit to pay off credit. Our joint income is approx £48k gross per annum. I have three credit cards, three store cards. My husband as at least four credit cards. Can you help pls?

Well done for posting about your problem debts,we have all been there and there is a solution so dont panic. The sooner you contact a professional to discuss your situation the sooner you will enjoy a nights sleep(a proper one!!)

Ditto to all of the above - and rest assured, there is a solution readily available - we have all been there......good luck!
Before you do speak to a professional about your circumstances, it is always useful to work out your income and expenditure to see how much you have avaialable - after deducting all of your living expenses and reasonable personal expenditure.
This figure will be critical to the options available to you, and will determine the amount which could be repaid to creditors under most of these procedures.
