Great to see positive feedback and I'm sure Declan will appreciate your post Dawn.

The more representatives we can get on the forum from IVA companies, the better (in my opinion).

Declan is a star [:)]

Declan is indeed an asset to the forum who has helped numerous posters.

all our professionals deserve a medal for giving their own time to answer queries from their own clients and others.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Totally agree with all the above, he is an asset to not only the forum but also DFD and i certainly hope that they reward him accordingly. x
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

Totally agree, Declan has always tried to solve any problems I've had, I can sense his frustration at times with trying to sort things for people and coming up against internal problems at DFD!

I just wish DFD had more Declan's who are willing to go that extra mile [:)]

Hear, Hear All - Yes, Declan has been a great help to a lot of disgruntled DFD posters on here over the years, including me when I had a few moans and groans, and when I was in the position to offer a F&F payment 21 months ago he pulled the strings to push it through in double quick time, and less than 4 months later I had my completion certificate - certainly restored my faith in DFD at the time!

I totally agree...Declan is always the one to 'bump' up my queries etc until they are resolved!! Shame there arent more people on here from DFD though so Declan isnt hassled too much!

agree with everything everyones said about declan

all of us with DFD however need to remember Declan has a full time day job at DFD and so cant always respond immediately to the forum, no matter how pressing our individuial issue may be

I have a variation meeting a week today; its somewhat of a strange one ( in my opinion ) as i gained auth from DFD to make a lump sum payment equal to the 5 remaining payments left to make ( the payment was introduced by a friend ) but then a few weeks after the payment had been made and i enquired via DFD ie not declan, about completion, i was told that whilst I need not make any further payments, closure could not take place until after the due date my last payment should have been made ie September. this seemed crazy to me, i mean why wait 5 months before starting closure, so the variation meeting was arranged whereby they will be asking creditors can they commence completion. This seems really quite strange to me ; being a simpleton, my thought train is DFD know the payment was introduced by a friend ,everything was arranged with them in advance and confirmed by email, & they have confirmed no further monies due and i do not own a property.

Oh well, im no IVA expert other than 5.5yrs of payments and perhaps never will be, but i will be wiser when it comes to money ( my money not plastic )
Last payment made April 2012
Certificate received 1st Nov 2012
