I keep an eye on my credit expert acccount and get alerts to changes. I have free membership cause my details got lost!!! by loan company and this was their way of an apology, more than the government did lol.

Anyway, once a default is registered can they keep on defaulting your account or is it that once defaulted that it is for 6 years they can't keep updating it.

Thanks again, have a good bank holiday everyone.

Do the experts have any thoughts on this?

Hello,

I wouldn't expect that any individual account could be defaulted more than once.

Thanks, I was hoping that would be the case, as I only have two accounts now that havent been defaulted but are at status "6" which should default this year, so by late 2014 my slate should be clean - heres hoping.

thanks again andrew.

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works here but I recently checked ours and some creditors register a default every month!! Melanie says that they are not allowed to once the IVA is set and that I need to contact our IP to get the creditors to remove them!
