thanks Vince,
i agree totally irresponsible.especially when i asked what happens after the final payment only 2 weeks before i made the payment of £1300.
this is what i got back from payplan :
Once we have received the last payment, the completion process can commence, which can take between 6-8 weeks. You will be sent correspondence and relevant information from us with regards to this.

after 10 weeks of waiting i chased up to get this back :
Thank you for your email. I have checked with our accounts department and they are in the process of distributing all of the funds to the Creditors. Once this has been done I will complete the paperwork for you, I can send you an email to let you know when this is on its way to you.
I will ask the Accounts department again whether they are able to give any time scale for this.

that was 12 weeks after making the payment.after asking why they were only starting the process now i got this back:
Thank you for your email. Yes, of course I do completely understand your eagerness. Unfortunately there has been a delay with our accounts department and they are updating everything as soon as they can. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.

no mention of ppi claims or tax refunds at this point(18th april 2012)

finally when i pushed to know the reason for the delay i got this back :
Thank you for your email, we have been notified of the following information regarding the Completion process:

The tax authorities have recently stated that fees in IVAs are now VAT exempt. We are required to apply for a refund of VAT previously paid on your IVA fees. The VAT refund we receive on your IVA will be paid into your arrangement to provide an increased dividend for your creditors. We have already applied for the VAT refund so are hopeful that we will be in a position to close your case in the next three months.

why no information until this point???
that will be 6 months to finalize my Iva !!!
to say im disappointed is a huge understatement.

Gemma, if you could look into this please do so.
do you have a contact email where i can send all relevant information.

Sorry Foggy - Kallis had logged on to get rid of some spam, didn't log out and I posted afterwards so the post has been deleted.

She will hopefully be back in the not too distant future.

Oh Harpic ---- I is so disappointed ... I thought the nastiness had been dealt with :-(

That post does look a little odd now -- worrying even --- methinks I will delete it also.

Give her my (our) best wishes ..... you are doing a sterling job :-)

Why not leave the post that was posted in error. We as experts always tell people not to delete post as it make their post look 'silly'.

Ksllis does apologise but as she is not supposed to be posting at the moment she deemed it better to delete the post. It's both our faults for not realising she was still logged in.

Had my full and final offer accepted today, so happy!!! But have been told by IP company that can give no indication of when I will receive a certificate of completion due to VAT issues, does anyone have an idea how long I should expect to wait???
