Maybe a freedom of information request as to whether insolvency firms are paid in some way to introduce clients to ppi reclaim firms.

Paul
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

If they are Paul - that payment is deemed to be a realisation into the estate from which the IP may only draw an additional fee based on the usual percentage of realisations. We don't need the freedom of information act - this is covered by contract law and statute.

Having dealt with both these companies to the point of sheer frustration, they are both as bad as one another, not client friendly and constantly having to be pushed into giving you any information.

With regards to Declan he was an absolute asset to that firm, however i think because of the fact he highlighted their shortcomings was told to not comment further on here, i might be wrong but that is the way it seems, as advisers from other firms also seem to have gone very quiet too.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

Well, to update, PPI paperwork has been emailed (finally!) and signed and sent. I also have a name to chase at the company they use so I will, if necessary chase three times a day to get this sorted. I realise that they have other cases but due to the constant fobbing off I feel as if I have no choice.

Chase by all means, but really wouldn't do it 3 times a day....they may dig their heels in further bump you to the bottom of the pile....
