Ah Rachel, we're all here for you, this must be so stressful for you. Seems like a lot of people on here are having the same problem as you re: DFD. I'm sure it will be sorted in the end, but it's awful that you are the one having to sort it! You don't need this. X

Thanks Viki, I hope it gets sorted too and quick because Bankruptcy is looking far more of a route to go down at present .

Rachel

I have to go to bed (good girl me [:D]) about midnight ish as I start work at 7am but I am usually about most evenings as I have a young son who is in bed also!

Please don't be depressed, somebody (an expert) will probably know what you are best doing but they have been thin on the ground tonight.

I just hope I am right in what I have said. Try and stay positive Viki is right, and she has had a sneaky nap so will probably be up really late [:D][:D] [:p]

Hope you will find out more tomorrow.

Viki [:D][}:)][:X]

Rachel

You should continue to pay your IVA as normal until told to change. The merger of Clearstart and Debt Free Direct is an internal one, and whilst it is bound to cause some disruption and change, it should not affect you unduly.

If some of your documents have been mislaid in the move, I would expect your IP to give you the benefit of the doubt when it comes to uplift reviews etc.

Talking about moving house, maybe its best that DFD and CS delay any reviews till the dusk settles. As Mel days, keep the standingd orders going, if they delay reviews its their problem alas you want a variation.

Photocopy all the info you sent to the companies,as getting hold of dup copies of P60 and wage slips are near impossible.

That is excellent advice from Emily - and I would always recommend to my clients that they scan the documents to me or at least keep copies as a lot of our mail seems to get lost between clients and our offices these days.

Hi thanks , Problem is i have already sent the wage slips etc and bank statements ,i month petrol receipts to Clearstart. When the variation was going to be looked into by Clearstart they never told us that they were going to Dfd so hence why i sent everything to them. When i rang DFD they said they would look at our files and get back to us . I am sat here worried sick .

If you have sent them Rachel, and they have lost them, that is their problem and not yours. Wait and see how they tackle this issue, and I would have e-mails to your IP recorded at least once per week so that they can see you are serious about wanting to sort this issue out.

Not at all - someone there must know what is going on! I suggest you ask to speak to their complaints department next to see if they can help you.

I will do tomorrow MELANIE ,I will let you know how i get on. Do you think then that it is right for us to carry on paying our iva to our old ip account as we have had no change of standing order as of yet . Will our money get to the right place.

Yes - keep paying your money into the old bank account Rachel, it will be quite safe. Your IP, whoever he or she is, has to take out an insurance policy to protect your funds in the event of theft or fraud - and not for a minute am I suggesting that there is any wrongdoing going on - but I just want you to know that your money is very secure.

Thankyou, Hubby and i were worried about that as we didnt know quite what happens when your ip changes . What a mess this is turning out to be . I would have thought they would know who our ip is , where our documents are we sent and what is happening with my hubbys variation meeting .
