I think that you are just speaking to people there who are far too low down the food chain Rachel. Try and get to speak to someone at a higher level - and be persistent.

THANKS MONEYSTINKS,
MELANIE as usual has calmed my nerves a bit , i just want some answers to my questions from DFD , but whenever i ring (2 times already this week) i dont get any. Its so frustrating. When i tell them that we had no knowledge of this merger with Clearstart its as though they dont believe me .

I have also had early issues with DFD since this merge happened-the first i knew of it was last friday (11th July)and there were things i had verbally agreed with Clearstart previously which now seem to be causing an issue. One thing i have established with them though is to keep paying into same account/standing order etc-nothing has changed there thank god!

DFD are really poor on the communication front. Quite often the call centre people dont have a clue what they are talking about.
You need to keep insisting they put you through to somebody who can put your mind at rest. If not then i would suggest, as Melanie said, ask to speak to their complaints department.

Good luck xx
