Hi just quick update for you all ! After having lots of problems with our iva plus the merger from Cleartstart to Dfd ,also our daughter is going to be having major surgery in the next three months we decided enough was enough and we are going bankrupt. We have started saving for the bankrupty for me and my hubby.Dfd did send me a current list of creditors and amounts but that is about our lot from them. ! Do you know since Dfd took over from Clearstart we have had no correspondence from them whatsoever ,no call ,no letter nothing. Which i find mind boggling. I am writing them a letter next week to ask them to terminate our ivas.Hopefully within 3 months we can get the money together to go bankrupt and start my worrying on my daughter who will need all our attention recovering from surgery. Sorry to rant on but Dfd have my blood boiling ,i still have no letter saying they had took over our ivas yet !

You just need to concentrate on your daughter now Rachel, who is going to have to be a brave little girl over the next few months. It sort of puts having a few debts into perspective really.

It is so hard when you see a little one in pain - it must hit you right to the core, as there must be very little you can do to relieve her suffering at the moment.

Children are far braver in the face of adversity than most adults, and I am sure that she will take the operation and aftercare in her stride with your love and attention. What a lucky girl to have such kind and attentive parents.

Rachell ... just wanted to say good luck. I am sure that making the decision has been a weight off your mind.

I know what it is like to haqve a poorly child, my daughter Sarah is insulin dependent diabetic and it's been a rough ride with her over the years. Times like this certainly put things into perspective ... at the end of the day it's ONLY money ... whilst your daughter is priceless.[:)]

Rachel
I'm So pleased for you that you have sorted a way forward.

Your daughter is alot more important !!

Our IVA's where accepted in Dec 2007 with Clearstart who have been absolutely fantastic with us, we then received a letter from DFD advising they where transferring all there IVA's to DFD. When we received this I was very concerned. (a bit of a under statements after reading all the horror story's on here) So I decided to write them a letter expressing my concerns and asking the questions I needed answering ??
I received a very prompt and effecient email by return answering all my questions and re-assuring me nothing would change and that my orginal IP Mr A Twitchen was still there and is still my IP and can be contacted at any time.
53 down 7 to go !!
Cant wait till December 2012

Hi Caraf,

Please can you let me know what email address you now use for DFD to get these prompt replies? I too was with Mr A Twitchen but when my review letter came a week ago my supervisor was different . No explanation to me so far. My standing order still goes to Mr Twitchens account as not told any different. Thanks!

I'm getting anxious about the review with a new company. My IVA is going fine and I'm really scared anything could change that...Cat

Hi everyone, my IVA has gone to DFD from Clearstart, I was told Alex Twitchen was no longer my IP but they couldn't give me the name of my new IP, I expressed concern about this and still have not heard from them. Caraf would you give me the e mail address that you used to get a prompt reply.

The email came from Kevin Stanley @ DFD
i was told to use
