those who have completed with DFD how long did it take to receive your completion certificate after the creditors have met to approve the closure?

TIA

I'm afraid it's a question of 'how long is a piece of string'.

Some people seem to get their certificate quickly others have been waiting many months.

Your IP or a member of their team are best placed to answer the question.

Well done for completing!!

I would definitely email them and enquire, lots of people are waiting and not just DFD customers. Hope it's come soon x

Why do the creditors have to meet when all the payments have been made?

It may have been for a full and final decision.

Hi There, my cert took 4 months (completed June, cert received in October) it really depends on your creditors and whether or not they have all put their claims in, mine was delayed because of one creditor not claiming, believe it or not I was calling THEM to get them to pull their finger out and put in the claim. if you have no other stuff to be sorted it shouldn't take too long, personally speaking my experience of DFD was really good, they were very efficient, just make sure you keep in touch with them on a regular basis, they don't want closures being delayed any more than you do.

We got ours within 9 weeks, however, this was prior to the PPI & VAT issues, we also completed an extended 12 months due to the inability to re-mortgage.
