AArgh...a small moan!

It has just cost me £62.80 to fill up my car with diesel! It used to cost me about £50! (And that was with a 5p off voucher from the lovely Tesco!)

By the way, one tank lasts me a week!!!!

Ho hum!

It is getting unreal isn't it? I try to use the car as least as possible but sometimes it's impossible not to.

I agree. The price of any fuel is absurd now. I pay about £1.10 now for unleaded but even that is set to go up again gggggrrrrrrrr [:(!] I heard by the end of this year it is likely to be around the £1.50 mark so god knows what diesel will cost

My question is why is the autogas fuel for cars going up as well, Is this the rising price of oil too? It has doubled in 2 years.
My car which is U/L now costs £60 to fill up per 300 miles, on top of that car tax which is rising nearly 50% to £300 next year. MADNESS !!

I'm sure my huge below inflation 2.2% pay uplift due this month(we dont call it a rise because technically it isn't, it is a pay cut) this year will pay for the rising cost of petrol, gas, electric, food, taxes, mortgages, and everything else that is going through he roof.[xx(]

And people wonder how so many are getting into the same situation as we are all in. Melanie and Ian had better brace themselves for a busy year. Everyone I know is feeling the pinch.

As sblack says, we don't get pay rises any more, just enough to cover a lucky dip on lottery!!!!!!

Hi all it costs my husband £65 to £70 per week for his diesel and I know exactly what he's going to say as he gets into the car

I fill up every other day with diesel and it takes £60-£70 to fill my car now which is unbelieveable!!
I do drive as part of my job so get fuel paid, thank god!!!

It used to be the way that you brought a diesel car (which costs more than a petrol alternative) and the lower fuel costs would eventually pay for the extra in buying the car. So lots of people went out and brought diesel vehicles and now the prices of diesel have risen dramatically and I don't think its any more cost effective to have a diesel now.

I want to switch back to a petrol vehicle, but work say I have to chose a diesel or a hybrid!!!

My Boss today set us a challenge to do 30 IAG's each and the first to accomplish this would receive a prize and she asked what we wanted, I said as a joke her husband's vehicle (4x4 Porsche) then retracted that by saying, no as I wouldn't be able to afford to drive it to the top of my road! We settled on a DVD player! I did 3 today, so 27 to go!
