You'll find that might be muscle build up though Julie as muscle does weigh heavier than fat.

As long as your clothes are loser and you keep going - that's the main thing!!

Thanks Jan, I'm daresay I could cut back more on food, but I'm trying to be realistic and as long as my shape keeps changing, I'm happy.

I do need to increase my exercise during the week and hope the lighter evenings will spur me on...with the forum help of course [:D]

On saying that, I jogged a bit when out with Dobby this morning. The jog turned into a full pelt run when we came across a load of cows that he fancied playing with!! Surprised myself that I could run [:D][:D]

That's even better. I have had to smile though at the thought of Dobby running full pelt after the cows!!

Lost another 1 lb today, clothes are beginning to feel a lot looser now.
anyone a friend of mine on fb, have a look at the photo of me giving hubby a cuddle in a green tee shirt then look at the photo next to it of me holding a bunch of flower, you can see how much better I look with losing some weight.
The first photo is the one I was horrified when I looked at and is my inspiration to change, (taken in Jan), the second was taken last Sunday.
seems to be just like me[:o)][:o)]

I'm going back on the wagon tomorrow. I know another two days after I said I would. I've got some jeans out of my wardrobe I want to wear when I next go to Manchester with a top I got off e-bay outside of the wardrobe now to try and encourage me...

I lost 1.5lb this week ( 1lb which I put on last week).

Really don't understand the scales and thinking of not weighing for a month as I feel down when I try so hard, clothes fit better, yet the scales hardly move.

How's everyone else doing??

That's good news Julie.

Doesn't matter what the scales say - the fact that your clothes fit bit shows that you are losing weight and sometimes the inches change faster than the pounds.

I put on 1 lb this week, think I was comfort eating a little. plus we had the BSI 2 day audit at work I was involved with, so the work lunches full of bread and cakes didn't help. Normally I have a salad.

Will get back on track next week, this week just showed me how if you mess around with a diet and try to eat more you do have to pay for it.
I did try to exercise a bit more to counteract it all but it obviously didn't work [:D][:D]

I was going to mention comfort eating!!! One pound isn't too bad really and I'm sure you will continue on with your holiday on the horizon!

I put on 1.2lb this week so my 'no diet' experiment didn't work! As tomorrow is 1st April I've decided it's my fresh start - I will lose weight for the wedding!
