Yeah I'm all sorted- just feel I'm let my niece down a bit as I told her I'd be slim for the wedding,I just hope she doesn't think I can't be bothered, but it's s hard. I know she won't even notice as she will have so much going on,but that's just me!
Have no regrets, the future is ours!

As Julie says I'm sure your niece will just be happy you're there. I'm getting married in September and I'm really not worried what the guests look like, providing they are having a good time.

I could do with one of my bridesmaids putting on some weight though - she's a size 8 and I'm going to look huge next to her! And with the best will in the world I will never be a size 8!

I agree, everyone will be looking at you, and I am certain you will look stunning.
Who wants to be a stick insect, I just want to get into a size 12 and I will be overjoyed if I manage it.

I don't think a size 8 is stick insect size, although I would probably look like one as I'm 5' 8"! It all depends on height.

To me size 8 is a stick insect, [:D][:D]

I have never been below a size 10 and that was when I was 16. For most of my adult life I was a size 12 - 14 depending on the make, it was only when I gave up smoking in 2006 that the weight piled on so I am now a size 16- 18.

It doesn't help that I am only 4ft 11 tall, 1 lb on me is like 4 lb on someone else.[:D]

My favorite saying is 'I am not overweight just undersized' [:D]

Similar to me PeeJayel -- I don's so much have a weight problem as a distribution problem ... if my "pot" could be spread around evenly it wouldn't be so bad !!!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I'm 5ft 10 and if I were size 8 my hubby would divorce me, he don't like skinny women plus I'd look gaunt. I would like to be a comfortable 14. x
