I'll be happy being a 12-14. I enjoy my food too much to be much smaller and it wouldn't suit me. I got down to a 10 once and looked awful.

You look great Jan, size 8 suits you.

I agree that a size 8 wouldn't look good on you Lesley - I think you look ok as you are.

Thank your for the compliment Skip.

from the photo's of you on fb, I agree Jan you look really good at a size 8. Do you calorie count now or just eat what you want.

The size of my stomach dicatates what I eat now but I do calorie count. I don't eat anything sweet at all.

I know how hard it is to lose weight the hard way - I've done it several times and then put it all back on again and then some.

I cheated - glad I did though!

Not sure I would class it as cheating but personally not ready for that route just yet. x

It is very drastic but I was morbidly obese which you most certainly are not!!

I dread to think what I would weigh now if I hadn't had it done.

Then it was the right decision for you and I don't diss anyone that chooses that route.

I'll get there one day, i've done it before and just need to get the diet head out.

You're nowhere near ready for anything like that. I had health problems as well with it which, thankfully, have now disappeared.

My problem was either dieting to the extreme and then putting it back on again, or, when I had problems, binge eating.

Not good either way.

If I go to WW tomorrow I'm expecting a gain. I might be changing my meeting to a Saturday morning as Tuesday evening is way too close to the weekend! At least if I weigh in on a Saturday I can enjoy the weekend and have a whole week back on track!

Today is another day footie. I get to the point of not knowing if I want to continue dieting but know if I don't I'll gain weight, right now mentally I'm not in a positive place and my weight is the least of my worries but don't want to go back to where I was. x

I know you've got a load of stressful things to deal with at the moment Lesley with the job and equity variation as well. I really hope everything works out well for you and I'm sure Mel and her team will do their best for you. Try and keep smiling and worry about the diet when things have settled. Best thing is to keep busy x
