I'm having a new programme done at the gym tomorrow night so hopefully that will motivate me.

I hate swimming with a passion - I can only swim a little bit but it has to be the most boring exercise ever invented! If it was more interesting I might learn properly but I prefer the gym - at least I can use different machines!

Good luck to everyone!

I'm ok with swimming when I get there but the thought of going fills me with dread, getting changed etc.,

At the minute I look like I'm ready for swimming everyday as the rubber ring around my waist is ever expanding!

In the past one of my problems with swimming is I can't see without contact lenses or glasses! Now I wear daily disposable I can at least change them so that would be better.

I also don't like getting water on my face or getting my hair wet (and NO WAY am I wearing a swimming hat!) so it's really not for me!!!

Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the gym as I need to step up the weight loss in time for the wedding!

I love swimming, we used to go every week when they did the free sessions for 60+ and children, as hubby is over 60 we didn't have to pay for him. The first thing this governement did when it came to power was to stop that. We then went once a fortnight but then gradually stopped, as happens when life gets in the way, only started again last weekend.
We are going to try and go back to once a week.

Good luck with the swimming PJL.

I've started back on track, had a breakfast meeting with a colleague but ate wisely! x

Fab news well done. I ate chocolate earlier and made myself ill to the point of needing to sleep all evening from 7pm until now! Why do I do it? I know I can't but can't seem to say NO. xx

I'm fine thanks, it's self-inflicted, I'm border diabetic. Should be scared as it killed my brother but doesn't stop me having the odd one or three chocolate bars! My body can't cope though and I do go to sleep almost straightaway. 7pm-1am I slept last night! So was up playing games after that with another forum member online!

You do need to be careful then - don't want anything nasty to happen.

Jan knows what it's like to fall asleep as she gets what they call 'dumping syndrome' since her bypass and, mostly at lunch, she will nod off aterwards - not good when she is at work!!

We both have dreadful nights - especially Jan at the moment, but neither of us would get up. Neither of us would be on the computer during the night.

I've been on it far too long today. Went to bed for a couple of hours and now doing my final assignment of the year towards my degree...yawn yawn!

I didn't need to get up last night I was still up. Hubby just leaves me on the sofa as I just take sleep as it comes not being a regular sleeper. x

Just catching up with this sorry!

Well done Peejayel - great news!!!

Please be careful Lesley, I know you find it hard to sleep and often think of texting you at 4.00am! As long as i get between 4 - 5 hours a night, I'm fine. I think it's in the genes as my Mum is the same and one of my daughters.

I got on the dreaded scales this morning and have lost 2lb so am now in a different "stone zone"[:)] I even wore a size 14 dress to work and enjoyed the compliments[:)][:)]

It is easier in this nice weather, I want to walk more and eat less.
