Thank you - still nowhere near to where I want to be with my weight, just trying to stay positive.

To be honest I'm a bit wary of the new meds - only recently licensed and not sure of the side affects.

Hopefully the side effects will be minimal or non existent. x

Hope you don't suffer any of them. Jan is waiting to be referred back to the hospital for some specialised drugs as she is suffering from 'dumping syndrome'. It's not pleasant but the GP can't prescribe at the moment.

My GP couldn't prescribe without consultant's go ahead. If I didn't try the new meds, I'd have to have an operation so will try it and hope for the best [:)]

Fingers crossed that it works out for both of you. Jan is still waiting for an appointment as it is a different PCT.

I hope it works for you Julie, and fingers crossed Jan gets her appointment soon.

I've lost 1.5lb this week, making a total of 12.5lb. Still a long way to go (and I won't get there by the wedding) but I'm on the right track.

I've been shopping and purchased lots of fruit, lots of veg and lots of salad and shopping cost so much more than usual! Wow this healthy eating lark isn't cheap is it?

Well I was pleasantly suprised to only put 3lb on during my holiday, normally it is 6-8lb so hopefully it wont take me too long to get back on track.
Back on the diet now and not so much of the drinking, I am sure it is all the coke etc that is the 3lb as they do put a lot in a rum and coke and having a drink most nights as well. It all soon mounts up.

Another 4.5 kilos gone and a couple of inches more off the waist! I could murder a kebab though :) I'm now 4 stones and 7 lb lighter than I was at the beginning of the year.

Komakino, you have done fantastically well, you must be pleased.
I love kebabs as well, luckily I dont have them very often maybe once every 6 months , I have one as a treeat if my calorie intake is low one day. It does happen occasionally if I have a busy day I am not snacking so much so I can then treat myself a little.
