Hindsight is a wonderful thing Lesley! I joined back in January but stopped going - if I'd done it properly then I would be at goal by now :(

Let's try and motivate each other to get to our next goals - your 8lb and my 4.5lb!

Definitely Lesley!

As I reached my stone yesterday I decided I deserved a reward so I've just ordered myself a new computer for my bike. Lets hope I get the weather to get out and use it!

I've just come back from a fairly substantial dog walk, I can now smell the gammon cooking though by hubby... and the flake ice cream is beckoning! Aren't I useless but at 1.5lb per week to lose I can achieve my goal before the christening. x

I was sorting out the favours for the wedding and I had to sample the chocolate - I didn't want to give the guests anything I wouldn't eat myself!

I'm jumping on the diet bandwagon too! Mainly spurred on by my forthcoming holiday but am determined to lose some 'timber' myself. Did the egg diet last week and lost 7lb in a week [:)]
Have downloaded myself a fab new app too and am now on 1200 calories a day to maintain a weight loss of 2lb a week..fingers crossed I stick to it and it works [:I]

Thanks Lesley!

The egg diet consists of 17 eggs within a week but you do get to eat a few other bits like lamb, chicken, steak and cucumber, tomato, lettuce and celery. It's about chemicals not quantity apparently. It's a good diet..hard work though!! x

Sounds a bit like the Atkins diet - no carbs.

I don't think diets that make you cut out a particular food group are healthy to be honest. All things in moderation is the best way - if only I could take my own advice!

My husband swears by and it works for him the GM diet, google it, it's a tough one and he does it religiously and loses between 10 and 14lb when he knows he needs to.

It's too tough for me as I don't eat all food groups anyway (such a freaky eater).

Thank you for telling me what it was though as I do like eggs.

Although today I've not eaten or drank anything yet as I'm not feeling too well.x

I did the Atkins diet a couple of times and it did work. It's the only diet I've ever done where I could eat a full English every day (apart from the bread!!).
