oh my I hadn't realised that close! So sorry I can't make it but with youngest going to uni and all other stuff happening this month it's impossible.

Same with FF meet at Christmas just too busy which is a shame and only wish I could have booked FF sooner but not to be so will catch up with all next Christmas. x

I am sure my first weeks loss won't be repeated, once I go into "starvation mode". But I am happy, and surprised, that I haven't felt hungry at all on the reduced portions and NO cheating!
I'm sure you've been told all this but:

1) Don't try to lose the weight too fast.
2) Eat small and often. Starving oneself doesn't really work too well as the metabolism slows right down. Maybe 150-200 calories every 2 hours if your typical daily schedule allows
3) Treat yourself to a nice curry or whatever you like once a month as a reward.

:)

Same happened to me a while back.

See my above post about the metabolism.

Thank you PJL I will do that and she will appreciate your good wishes.

Without wanting to sound like Mr Grace, you're all doing very well...I plan a bit of a blitz in the diet department next week as I've been static for a few weeks. Good tips from komakino. x

Finally catching back up with this thread and well done to all who are still losing!

I have dropped a dress size and starting to feel a lot better now my medication has settled. I also have to use an irrigation kit daily ( sorry for too much info) - it wipes me out but is working!

I still have a lot of weight to lose, but with the right medication, healthyy diet and exercise I am determined to get there.....eventually [:D]

I don't mind posting details on here Niobe if no-one else objects [:I]

As I've had my "condition" for 10 years now and it is now classed as chronic. I have been supplied with an irrigation kit to use - at first I was pleased and thought it would be a "quick fix", but the reality is a painful, horrendous procedure, that I have to do daily at first and still try to function, when all I want to do is take to my bed. In time, I should be able to reduce the usage and it will help, but never cure.
