Hi m h

I am sure that this will not affect your application - but do check with the Home Office helpline to be sure. You can make the call anonymously if you prefer.

ok thanks for your reply..I am really unsure about this IVA because I feel threathened about the whole process. My total debt is £15000 and I am really struggling to pay everything because most of the money I owe is from high street pay day loans. Although I had contacted some of my creditors for arrangement I still feel that I cannot afford to pay this arrange payment they want because most of these still incur charges on all my payment so its judt useless to make a payment.Although HSBC told me that as soon as I got my permanent visa they will be able to help me through consolidation loan but I still have to wait until november ..by that time Im really in great debt because of non-payment..Do you think I should submit myself on IVA?

No I don't - because you seem so uncertain about affordability, and your debts are actually quite low. I would suggest a debt management programme until November is the right way forward. Agree some nominal payments to your creditors in tht meantime, and maybe consolidation with HSBC is a sensible option - providing you do not incur any more debt after this has been done.
