Hi everyone. Ok, so I've recently used my last cheque from the Co-Op bank although have not had a delivery of a new one. Could this be an oversight and I need to order one or, they are on my case and not letting one be dispatched? I would call although, would there be a risk of me being credit checked in order to receive a new cheque book? I have a standard account with no overdraft limit and no previous bounced cheques. Would it be prudent to get another account in case although from where? (and not having to pay a charge for having one!) Thanks.

Co-Op are generally ok with IVAs. They shouldn't credit check on the issue of a cheque book.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I didn't think Banks credit checked just because you order a new cheque book. Best to ring in case it's gone astray...
