Discharged bankruptcy and mortgages

Hi Everyone
Can you help we were discharged from bankruptcy in febuary this year . Is there anyone that you know that would give us a mortgage . and what sort of percentage deposit we would need.

Contact Tony Parsons who posts on the forum as Welsh Boy. Tony is a whole of market broker, and will know whether anyone would be prepared to lend to you - but I would anticipate that you would need at least a 25% deposit.

At the moment you would have to be discharged for at least 1 full year. The deposit as Melanie said would be quite a large part of the overall value of the property.Tony
