Yeah seemed fine.. I never got to speak to Hywel, Hubby took over (as he does).. going to offer 34p/£ I think, had to check mortgage fixed rate, with C & G and is fixed to 2011 which is good.. Hubby will call Hywel to let him know tomorrow and then I think we'll have to speak to Melanie. Then all systems go. Will keep you updated.

Thanks for thinking about me.. you are so kind x

Spoke to Melanie tonight re proposal and IVA!! You were all right she is lovely, and I had nothing to be worried about. She will send out proposal in next couple of days and then once returned, creditors meeting will be set!!

Anybody who is apprehensive about speaking to a professional, don't be!! They are human and have all the advise and help you need!! I'm so pleased I chose Melanie from the IVA.com site, I couldn't fault her and her team in anyway..

So now wish me luck on the next leg of my journey[;)]

hi - not posted for a while but we are with melanie too - prob at the same stage as you just waiting for our proposal to come through. i had a chat with melanie a few days ago and she is a really lovely genuine person!

we have so many debts it is frightening - but hope fully there is a light at the end of the tunnel - who knows our creditors meeting could be on the same day!!!

this forum has some lovely people on it and it has been such a support for us over the last couple of months

i just want all this to be sorted so that the phone calls and letters end and we can live our life appreciating what really means the world to us like our family and pets etc

keep your chin up we will suport each other

Hi, Firstly thanks for the posts, they mean a lot.Well i had my telephone appointment with ,i think it's Howell? He was very reassurring and patient(as i tend to babble when i'm nervous!)We went through our outgoings and he kept telling me that i was under the allowance and to make sure i was allowing enough to cover us for 5 years. It was such a nice feeling that although i know they are working with creditors, they also care enough about your situation to make sure that you will be ok too,and your not putting yourself in a worse situation.Anyway on our debt of approx. 65k it looks poss that we could be offering approx £680 pm.I'm not sure what this is pence in the pound but hopefully the creditors will be ok with it.I have a telephone appointment with Melanie on Friday night to go over things and then hopefully full steam ahead.I've still got butterflies(which feel more like Albatross's in my stomach) but like i said at least it's getting sorted.Hope all goes ok for you Ang and Barb speak soon xxx
