What's it about Quark?
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

Nobody gets sacked for blotching up big time and simply say whoopsee daisy.....or that they are chasened by the bad experience. As a solicitor I would be reported to the Bar council for blotching cases up but I don't practice anymore....anyway integrity is lacking in the Banking world. Sad!

I watched the programme last night and was amazed at the extortionate bonuses that these bankers get. I found it interesting that the guy on there said all he cared about was next year's bonus. It all falls into place now, because the leaches that constantly hound you for money when you fall behind a couple of months are probably also on large bonuses which explains why some of them are so rude. After many months of soul searching and blaming myself for my mess, having seen that programme I have realised that the banks have bought this all on themselves and at 9 o'clock last night, all the guilt went out of the window and I am now not bothered that I owe the banks money. I will, of course, fulfill my IVA committments, but my feelings have now changed somewhat. The credit crunch was created by the banks, and its us taxpayers that now have to get them out of their mess, whilst paying the chief exec's obscene amounts of dosh to boot.

Phew....that feels better. Kazzy x

I couldn't believe what I heard about Northern Rock, they paid off the man who was involved in that fiasco with a 63k a week and 2mill pension.[:0]

After all the heartbreak and worry that N.R. have caused some of us on here yet they just 'pay off' someone who was involved in the N.R. mess[V]

Kazzey, #13;#10; I agree with you 100%, i dropped the fear of going BR if need be, I am still getting offers of loans from here there and everywhere, and i have all the offers of further credit and stuff in a file from over the years. I sometimes feel like saying to myself, sod it, go BR, show the judge all the letters from the creditors offering me more and more, say that i got caught in their trap, and be done with it. For the meantime though, payment 2 is coming up and i'm a bit proud of myself if only to prove that yes i can afford to pay off my debts just now. Things do change though, i could fall off my bike and never be able to work again, please god that doesn't happen. The programme made me feel much better, and current accounts with a credit union, very interesting.
