Background:My husband and I entered into an IVA in December. After the IVA was set up we were asked to sign modifications we were not aware of, one which would affect our property. My husband also got summoned to court from one of the creditors.o
Nature of dispute:I had to seek a solicitors advice. He advised me that the IVA was not set up properly and in fact anyone of the creditors could bankrupt me.
I have since paid off the IVA but have incurred solicitors and have paid towards supervision fees that have not been carried out.

If the IP firm accepted modifications on your behalf, without seeking your agreement, this is a fairly serious matter. Have you lodged a complaint directly with your IP, and if so perhaps this is a matter now for their regulators to rule on?
