Have you actually tried to speak to them - ie a case manager to understand why they have completed an interim review and are demanding that you pay more money? I feel sure that this will not have been done without good reason, and it may be best trying to speak to your IP before registering this as a dispute.

I have been told that £288 af my expenditure does not meet CCCS guidelines. I do not know who or what this is. I have been told that the increase is half of this £288. This expenditure was not questioned on previous assessments is this right? I have also been informed that the reason my IVA has been reassessed is due to a delay whilst Grant Thornton had been restructuring. Is it right for Grant Thornton to expect me to accept a delay because of their activity? If not what are my options because I am unhappy that it has taken my initiative and a letter to get to this stage.

This doesn't sound right - your expenditure should be acceptable if it is reasonable and CCCS guidelines do not necessarily have to be used at annual review stage providing your expenditure is reasonable.

I suggest that you ask for one of the IPs at GT to review this issue personally.

I have written to grant thornton to question this increase. I will also ask why CCCS guidelines were not considered at the start of my IVA after looking at my IEE it is clear that my IP did not do the assessment personally I will ask for this to happen.

Since I last posted, I have tried to contact GT. I have made 8 phone calls (only 2 answered no call back as promised), I have had two emails bounced back and I have sent two letters to which I have not had a reply. I have been trying for 14 days to get a full explanation. the latest letter was directly to my IP. Surely this is totally unacceptable. What are my next options. Help/advise please.

I have now made contact with the Client Services Manager at Grant Thornton who is anxious to speak to you to hear your complaint. Could you perhaps e-mail me your name and address so I can get her to contact you directly.

It's now 13 days since last post regarding this matter still nothing from GT. I think it's time for me to consider a formal dispute. What is my next step?
