Hi! Quick question - I was wondering if disability living allowance/other benefits are taxable as income? I've been desperately trying to figure out exactly what money is coming out where (on that note, this income calculator has been a huge help). If anyone could help me out it would be a huge help. Thanks in advance :)

Unsure off hand on DLA, income based JSA and ESA income related were not taxable benefits last I knew, however contribution based benefit did go towards overall tax allowance for the year and would be included in P60 totals, although no tax is taken from the benefit itself.

Am out of date on JSA

https://www.gov.uk/income-tax/taxfree-a ... e-benefits

This link shows the benefits that are taxable.
