Do I disclose all backdated benefit or from the date my IVA started on 29th October 2013 ?

my iva started on the 29th october 2013 and
i have just recieved a back dated benifit payment for june to novembeber, this is a one off payment, i know that i have to disclose any extra income i reciev but do i disclose all the amount or the amount of backdated benefit from when my iva started thankyou

Disclose it all. Always the best way.

disclosing it doesn't always mean it'll be taken, but trying to hide it won't do much for the client IP relationship

I agree with the above advice. Always best to be upfront with your IP.

Definitely disclose the whole sum, and if your IVA income was based on you receiving a lower benefit I imagine that all of the money will be due to the IVA, and you may also need to have your payments increased if your benefit income is now raised accordingly.

As everyone has said definitely disclose the payment. However if the payment was in relation to a dedicated disability benefit such as dla care or mobility then you may be able to agree or discuss with your ip about keeping the payment to help with specific expenditure items for your disability needs.

If its another means tested benefit this may not be the casde. However make sure theres no impact on council tax or housing benefit or tax credits that you need to factor in as well. Best to check all bases before you spend it so your doing the right thing checking.
