do I have to give pension to IVA or can I keep it

Hi can a professional answer my question cos im in a bit of a dilema about this, I have asked this question before but didnt get much response. If I get an early payment of pension money £2,300 now ive turned 50,(as I can take a portion of it now) do I have to give it to IVA or can I keep it.

Hi there and welcome to the forum

If the pension was specifically excluded from your IVA, then you may keep the money. If not, then your IP may claim it as a windfall in which case you will have to hand it over for the benefit of your creditors. Check your IVA proposal and associated documents to be sure.
