Do I have to inform IP if my Dad buys me a cheap run around car ?

Iv been using my ex husbands car now and then to get about but can no longer use his car. My dad wants to buy me a cheep run around. Do I have to inform my IVA company ?

Hi and welcome

No you don't however you may want to include petrol/insurance etc in your living expenses and this may impact on your disposable income and hence IVA payment. If this is the case have a chat with your IP

There is no harm advising your IP so that they have the details of the change on their files - and as Andy says if there are to be changes in your expenditure as a result of the gift, then you would be wise to alert them of these.
