Hi
I am pretty sure that you will need to be in full time employment to enter an IVA.You need to take advice from a company on this site.Bankruptcy may be another option for you, again take advice on this forum.

Hello Peres

If you have been granted a work permit and are paying tax in the UK then you potentially be able to enter into an IVA. I do however have some concerns about your ability to have enough money to live on and offer a sufficient dividend to your creditors. Also if any of the debt is held with the Student Loan Company this may have to be kept outside of the IVA and any potential bankruptcy.

Please feel free to browse our website and talk about your debt problems with one of our debt counselors.

Best Regards
