Hi All

Can interlocking IVAs at the same property have different outcomes?

I found out yesterday that my IVA has officially been closed on the 11th March......yay....(I only found out by contacting Aperture to see what was going on despite them telling me in February that I would be emailed with the outcome when it eventually happened)...but never mind, its done now and i'm thrilled...[:D]... My question now is that according to the lady who replied to my email, my ex partners interlocking IVA has yet to be reviewed next week !! so as all the details on the I & E forms, the redemption statements and house valuations I sent in are for the same house, does his IVA have to have the same outcome as mine ?
She said that he has no monies owing so there is just the review of the I & E which will be carried out next week and if all is well, will send his to the closure team.
Would it not make sense to review the interlocking IVAs together which surely makes less work for them as all the information they required was sent for both IVAs or is that asking too much me thinks....

Hi

You would think that they would deal with both IVAs at the same time, wouldn't you ??

However nothing to be worried about and I am sure that they will conclude the outstanding IVA shortly

Aperture do seem to make hard work of everything, but I am sure things will be OK.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

The key is interlocking but no longer together.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Hoping that very soon, both will be finalised, does seem silly not to do both at once though in my humble opinion.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
