I would strongly advise against anyone going with GT for a IVA, They are all happy to take your money and you would get through really quickly. Then when you paid for 5 years with no gap and never broke any of the rules all you get is over 17 month chasing you CC so you can move on. They have had loads of chances to sort this out, they never return a call and email from C team very rarely answered.
Now writing a letter to my solicitor as had enough.

I can empathise that a lot of posters are experiencing problems with GT but it would only appear of late and the ppi issue.

Do keep badgering them although I realise it's hard for everything to be one-sided and when you get no reply it can make your blood pressure rise as I know it would mine.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I appreciate that they have made a right dog's dinner of completions. However, my experience of them actually running my IVA is first class. If they could get a firework up the behind of closures they would be a good company and it is a real pity that this debacle should be bringing the whole company down.

It is, however, a bad indictment that the "powers that be" over there haven't got off their own corporate behinds and sorted this out.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I'm afraid I disagree that the general running of the IVA is good - today I had a letter telling me my account was in breach. This is because I was sent an annual I&E form incorrectly (as a F&F payment was made last July. I honed and was told this was automated and was an error. I was told that a note would be put on my file so no more letters would be sent out. Another letter was sent out saying I would be in breach if I didn't send the documents. I phoned again, was told it was another error and that the closures team were being emailed and I would receive no more letters.

Today's letter said I was in breach. When I phoned I was told yet again it was automated and that no email had been sent when I was assured one had been! I asked about time for completion after I had finished politely explaining I had had enough of thus and was told that once the variation was agreed, there would be 6-8 weeks to get the systems corrected (?) and then there was a chance something might happen.

I am very disillusioned with GTs ability to do anything and would say their caseload is just too big to be able to do what they need to.

Hi kst101-- once again a problem seemingly revolving around the closures department, not day to day running of the IVA

I suppose so - although did have the spotty letters both sent to me when ex husband now lives somewhere else (they put both addresses on so I suppose pot luck where they went!)

I know it will all end eventually but the lack of communication both within departments and with me does make things harder.
