If it's early days with your newly approved arrangement, you need to give the creditors left hand time to tell the right hand what it is doing. It's not uncommon to receive calls or letters for a short while after the arrangement is approved. You're doing the right thing in contacting them and advising of the situation.
Tell it like it is.

When they get the letter to say your going for a iva they go into panic mode and put you into the autodiallers to get as much money out of you pre iva as possible.

Don't fall for it, don't make any payments not even the token payments they may ask for.

They probably know about the IVA, but by saying they don't it gives them a opportunity to try to earn their bonuses by getting you to make a payment.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

Although we told all our creditors that we were going for an IVA they kept writing, phoning and threating to send the bailiffs court action nothing happened thank goodness until the iVA was agreed then it all stopped over night--such a relief. I sent all the letters I received to my IP and tried to be very polite to the phone calls--well the people doing the phoning are only doing their job.
