Welcome to the forum.

Are you taliking about IVA or bankruptcy as there seem to be some differences in the way child benefit is handled .

In BR Chb is not counted as part of your income.

An increase in child benefit is not classed as income for the purpose of calculating 50% uplifts.

Hi
Presuming that child benefit was included in your income that was declared on your I+E form for your IVA then when you update those details,at your annual review, you will include any increase in your new income figures

thank you very much for the replies
i should have stated clearly that it was an iva i was in and not br.
the child benefits were declared in the original income & expenditure
i was just concerned that if it was classed as an extra income i was not putting half of it away, and would end up with a large bill at review time
once again thank you
