i am thinking of doing an iva. i live with my parents and do not want them to know about it. what documentation would i need to proceed with an iva. would i need written proof from my parents for the rent i pay. Also what documentation would i need regarding my wages and any other income?

Hi Tracey
You would need wage slips or p60 statements from creditors final balances etc. As for mom and dad they would I think want something from them saying what you pay in rent. It would be much easier to tell them, you would be surprised at how understanding family is, so many on this forum have said the same and when they have told them they have been very supportive. I think it would be difficult not to tell them.
Please post how much you owe, income and expenditure so others can advise if an iva is the best thing for you. Youi need to be insovent to propose an iva. No worry there will be a solution.
