With HSBC closing accounts do you reckon you could get away with having money transferred out to another account (now having faster payments reaching you within 2 hours) to which you IVA payment comes out of so they dont pick up on the DD for your IVA?? then just risk them finding out by the insolvency register?
Life is one big challenge so what are you going to give me today!?

I think there is one chap on here who has kept his HSBC account and so far so good. However I think I would breathe easier changing it than to keep hoping they dont find out. A direct payment will still show up and they may investigate it. I assume thats what you mean CJ08, making a direct payment to your IVA company?

Yeah CJ thought of that (transferring IVA money to another aco**** eg coop and then paying just IVA from there) but I think I am such a worrier that it would be far easier for me to swap to Co-op and be upfront... thanks for advice though and hopefully we can get sorted soon x

Does anyone know if we would be allowed a CO-OP current account - obviously without the overdraft?

Just could really use cheque book if we are allowed it - no cheque guarantee of course

Well I have decided to open a Co-op cashminder account which i have just done over the phone - so easy!

However we are gonna stick with HSBC account to see if they do kick us out! Then will let everyone know - in the meantime will try to save a few put aside pennies in Co-op but at least it is now there in case we need it if HSBC kick us out fast!!!
