we have a loan of 55,000 with one company, we can afford to pay this along with our other bills ect, but some months really struggle, I so wish we never got the loan in the first place we would be so much better off without it but there is nothing I can do to reduce payments not even an IVA, does anyone have any advice?

Hi nicolak and welcome to the forum

Have you asked the creditor to reduce your payments to a more affordable level? Why not send them details of your income and expenditure to show them how much you can afford to pay? And what has changed in your circumstances to mean that you can no longer afford to pay this loan, as I assume that you felt it was affordable when it was taken out?
