Hiya and welcome. Yes, an IVA, like bankruptcy, will effect your credit history badly for 6 years. You will probably not be able to get credit in those 6 years, but many go on to get mortgages etc after.
It's nice to be back......

Hey jlr, welcome to the forum. Your credit rating will be rubbish for six years from the date of your creditors meeting.[:(] X

Although if you are that worried about your credit rating I would think that your debts are perhaps almost manageable right now. Its when you get to the point that your credit rating doesnt matter one hoot that you know its time to get the experts involved.
